Statement on the procurement policy for conflict-free metals
Conflict metals refer to rare metals such as gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co) and tin (Sn), which come from the Congo and surrounding countries and regions, non-governmental military groups or illegal military Mining areas in conflict areas controlled by factions. The illegal mining profits obtained by local military groups were stolen from citizens and caused human rights violations and environmental degradation in the Congo and surrounding countries and regions.
Taikang does not use "conflict minerals" from Congo and its surrounding countries and regions. It only purchases materials from environmentally and socially responsible raw material suppliers, and requires our raw material suppliers to conduct business with their supply chains in a reasonable manner. Due diligence to ensure that the metals used in the raw materials provided to Taikang did not come from conflict areas.
